March 1st KAL - Day 1

Hi Knitters ~
  Our supplies are ready--
1 skein of solid cotton yarn in Lavender [or your preferred color] and

our trusty size 7US needles [or your preferred set of needles] ~ 

You will receive about 12 rows to knit each day ~
Keep an eye on your pattern, as directions change for each row!
So now all we need is to know how to
begin - 
Let's get started~

First day rows:

Cast on 43 stitches

Row 1: knit across 

Row 2: knit across 

Row 3: knit across

Row 4: knit across 

Row 5: knit across

Row 6:
k4, (k1, p1) twice *k7, p1, k1, p1; repeat from* until last 5 stitches, k5 

Row 7: k4, p1, (k1, p1) twice *k5, (p1, k1) twice, p1; repeat from* until last 4 stitches, k4

Row 8: k4, (k1, p1) twice *k7, p1, k1, p1; repeat from* until last 5 stitches, k5 

Row 9: k4, p1, (k1, p1) twice *k5, (p1, k1) twice, p1; repeat from*
until last 4 stitches, k4

Row 10: k10, *p1, k1, p1, k7; repeat from* until last 13 stitches, p1, k1, p1, k10 

Row 11: k4, *k5, (p1, k1) twice, p1; repeat from* until last 9 stitches, k9

Row 12: k10, *p1, k1, p1, k7; repeat from* until last 13 stitches, p1, k1, p1, k10
