November Mid Month KAL - Day 6

Here are the rows from day 6. If you want to find out what the cloth should look like at this point, visit the "overflow" blog listed under my name below, there are several photos there.

DAY 6:
Row 1 and all odd rows: K across to last 2 stitches, P2.
Row 54: K3, YO, K to last 8 sts, turn.
Row 56: K3, YO, K to last 9 sts, turn.
Row 58: Bind off 9 stitches, K2, YO, K to last 10 sts, turn.
Row 60: K3, YO, K to last 11 sts, turn.
Row 62: K3, YO, K to last 12 sts, turn.

Previous:
You will need #7 US needle and one skein of cotton yarn in either a solid
color or a pastel variegated color, #137 Sunrise (Peaches & Crème) yarn is a
suggested color but any of the above mentioned colors will work too. We will
be dealing with "short rows". For those new to knitting, all that means is
we may be working some of the stitches of a row but then turning our work
and going in the opposite direction. You can probably find out more about
this technique from www.knittinghelp.com.

DAY 1:
This cloth is made up of 6 or 7 wedges, all exactly the same. Don't cast off
after every wedge, you should have the same number of stitches on your
needles as you cast on at the beginning ie. 20
stitches.

Cast on 20 stitches.

Row 1 and all odd rows: K across to last 2 stitches, P2.
Row 2: K3, YO, K to last st, turn.
Row 4: K3, YO, K to last 2 sts, turn.
Row 6: K3, YO, K to last 3 sts, turn.
Row 8: K3, YO, K to last 4 sts, turn.
Row 10: K3, YO, K to last 5 sts, turn.
REMEMBER.....All odd number rows you Knit across to within last 2.
stitches and P2 (all stitches are worked on this row).

DAY 2
Row 1 and all odd rows: K across to last 2 stitches, P2.
Row 12: K3, YO, K to last 6 sts, turn.
Row 14: K3, YO, K to last 7 sts, turn.
Row 16: K3, YO, K to last 8 sts, turn.
Row 18: K3, YO, K to last 9 sts, turn.
Row 20: Bind off 9 stitches, K2, YO, K to last 10 sts, turn.

DAY 3
Row 1 and all odd rows: K across to last 2 stitches, P2.
Row 22: K3, YO, K to last 11 sts, turn.
Row 24: K3, YO, K to last 12 sts, turn.
Row 26: K3, YO, K to last 13 sts, turn.
Row 28: K3, YO, K to last 14 sts, turn.
Row 30: K3, YO, K to last 15 sts, turn.

DAY 4

Row 1 and all odd rows: K across to last 2 stitches, P2.
Row 32: K3, YO, K to last 16 sts, turn.
Row 34: K3, YO, K to last 17 sts, turn.
Row 36: K3, YO K to last 18 sts, turn=29 stitches
Row 38: Bind off 9 sts, K across row.= 20 stitches
Row 40: K3, YO, K to last st, turn.
Row 42: K3, YO, K to last 2 sts, turn.

Day 5:

Row 1 and all odd rows: K across to last 2 stitches, P2.
Row 44: K3, YO, K to last 3 sts, turn.
Row 46: K3, YO, K to last 4 sts, turn.
Row 48: K3, YO, K to last 5 sts, turn.
Row 50: K3, YO, K to last 6 sts, turn.
Row 52: K3, YO, K to last 7 sts, turn.

    This cloth is made up of 6 or 7 wedges, all exactly the same. Don’t cast off after every wedge,

    stitches. When all the wedges are completed the edge is sewn together, the threads are sewn in
    and the cloth is finished.

    Row 8: K3, YO, K to last 4 sts, turn.
    Row 10: K3, YO, K to last 5 sts, turn.
    Row 12: K3, YO, K to last 6 sts, turn.
    Row 14: K3, YO, K to last 7 sts, turn.
    Row 16: K3, YO, K to last 8 sts, turn.
    Row 18: K3, YO, K to last 9 sts, turn.
    Row 20: Bind off 9 stitches, K2, YO, K to last 10 sts, turn.
    Row 22: K3, YO, K to last 11 sts, turn.
    Row 24: K3, YO, K to last 12 sts, turn.
    Row 26: K3, YO, K to last 13 sts, turn.
    Row 28: K3, YO, K to last 14 sts, turn.

    Repeat this wedge 6 more times.
    FINISHING
    Sew the edge together, sew in threads and enjoy your completed cloth
